happy new year, everybody. I spent the last few minutes leading up to midnight playing backgammon with Mr. P and Dad and drinking Martinelli’s. Good times were had by all.
It’s almost time to return to grad school and the accompanying sweet sweet taste of idiocy! That is, me feeling like a tongue-tied idiot in class. I don’t really understand why discussions are so darn important in grad school when it is well known that nerds are not exactly the most eloquent people around. Well. I usually drift off after making the required 2-3 comments anyway to dream of a naked Takeshi Kaneshiro frolicking in a pool of jello. So I guess it’s not a major worry.
Almost time to return to the books…to the library…to the sad-eyed legions of grad students. Eh. More Takeshi for me. Bring on the new year!!
